With my new shelves the light from the single lamp in the room isn't enough to properly illuminate my workplace in the corner. So, I tried to build my own lamp from a supply of LED stripes that I had purchased recently.
I stitched together 6 stripes of 50cm length each, and let them run at a full 12V (no dimming). But still the light intensity isn't enough for my purposes.
Searching the web, I now found the company Pfeifer + Seibel and have already ordered my new workplace LED lamp. With a length of 90cm it should fit nicely into my shelves and I'm already looking forward to seeing it in action. Even better that it has a dimming function already included, so I don't have to invent my own solution for this.
